‘Toka Kwa Balabala’ singer Adam Mulwana passes away

The Ugandan music scene mourns the loss of talented singer Adam Mulwana, best known for his hit song “Toka Kwa Balabala,” who passed away this morning.

The news of his passing was shared by his close friends and family members on social media, leaving fans and the music community in shock.

Mulwana, who had been relatively inactive in the music industry recently, had previously expressed his struggles with health issues.

In one of his last public appearances, he disclosed that he had been informed by doctors that he was poisoned, though he remained uncertain about the identity of the perpetrator or when it occurred.

Following the release of “Toka Kwa Balabala,” Mulwana faced a wave of criticism and negativity, citing numerous people who targeted him.

Despite the challenges he faced, he maintained optimism about his recovery and future endeavors.

The song “Toka kwa balabala” gained immense popularity in 2016, particularly during the presidential campaign of Dr. Kizza Besigye, the former president of the Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) party. It served as a rallying anthem during Besigye’s campaign rallies, resonating with supporters across the country.

May his soul Rest In Peace.
