Beloved Ugandan social media celebrity Asia Namirembe has died.
Asia, who became an overnight sensation on social media passed away Thursday morning after an operation.
She eportedly developed a severe abdominal complication this week and was rushed to Mulago Hospital yesterday.
Her family sayS she first complained of stomach pain and was vomiting a lot.“We took her to a clinic in Kamwokya and they run a scan.

But later as she got worse we decided to bring her to Mulago,” Asia’s mother saidAsia was admitted in the ICU and she passed away this morning after a surgery.
