The new generation of nightlife in Kampala

Kampala’s nightlife is evolving, and one name is leading the charge—Fine Bae Asha. With fresh, bold concepts inspired by the vibrant party scenes of Ghana and Nigeria, Asha is quickly becoming a dominant force in the city’s entertainment world. Her events are not just parties; they’re experiences, and she’s proving that she has what it takes to completely transform Kampala’s nightlife.

Once a month, Asha hosts a highly exclusive, invite-only house party “THE PRIVATE HOUSE” at a secret location. This isn’t your average gathering—this is where the elite of Kampala gather, with high security ensuring that only the top names on the guest list make it through the doors. The buzz around these events is electric, and getting an invitation has become one of the most coveted opportunities in the city. “It’s a vibe like no other,” says one of her regular guests. “It’s intimate, yet you feel like you’re part of something bigger, something groundbreaking.”

Asha’s rise to the top is mentored by Maxxie Kizito, a legendary name in Kampala’s entertainment scene with over a decade of experience, “Maxi has been instrumental in helping me build the right team and understand what it takes to make each event unforgettable,” Asha shared in a recent interview. Together, they have crafted a strategy to not just compete, but dominate the industry.

Now, Asha is gearing up to launch her latest project—No Rules Saturday, a weekly event at the renowned Safari Maze Lounge in Centenary Park, owned by Mr. Rafiki. This isn’t just another Saturday night; this is a revolution in partying. “There are no limits, no boundaries. It’s all about being free, being yourself, and having fun with no restrictions,” Asha says. The concept is simple: no rules. Partygoers can expect the unexpected, with top DJslive MCs, and an atmosphere that’s pure, unfiltered fun. “We’re shaking things up in Kampala, making Saturday nights the new go-to for anyone looking to have a truly unforgettable night.”

Dice Rich, another rising star in Kampala’s entertainment and fashion scene, is also joining forces with Asha. Known for his unique style and knack for bringing fashion to the forefront of every event, Dice adds another layer to this already powerful team. “Asha, Maxi, and Dice—it’s the dream team,” says one insider. “Together, they’re going to take Kampala by storm.”

But the ambition doesn’t stop there. Asha and Maxi are planning to introduce a new trend to Kampala’s party scenemorning parties. Popular in Ghana, these parties start at 5 a.m. and run until midday, providing a fresh twist for those who prefer to rest through the night and turn up in the early hours. “It’s all about giving people options,” Maxi explains. “We want to push the boundaries of what partying means in Kampala. Why should the fun stop when the sun rises?”

With her passion for entertainment, Asha has more than proven her ability to bring people together in new and exciting ways. “We’re just getting started,” she says with a smile. “I’ve always had big dreams, and with the right team and support, I know we’re going to make them a reality.”

From private, ultra-exclusive house parties to the no-holds-barred energy of No Rules Saturday, Fine Bae Asha is setting a new standard for what it means to party in Kampala. Keep an eye on her social media for more details about upcoming events, and be ready to experience something unforgettable.

Sheebah Jets out to Canada to give birth under Muwomya’s watch

Now that Sheebah’s pregnancy rumours are out of the way, what is on everyone’s mind is who the father of the child could be.

Already fingers are being pointed at everyone and anyone; from socialites to influential people in society to fellow artistes. As we are still waiting on that, information that we are still investigating is that Sheebah jetted out of the country to Canada where she is planning on giving birth to her firstborn child.

Whether it is her decision or the decision of the baby daddy, Sheebah’s baby or babies will be duo citizens. Kati that leaves us wondering if the baby daddy is also Canadian.

About a fortnight ago before her ‘Neyanziza’ concert, Sheebah had announced during a presser that she badly needed a break from music since she has been on stage for the past fifteen years, but vigorously for the past ten. To add the icing on the cake, she said the concert was her sendoff into a music holiday.

But Sheebah did not really confirm she was pregnant, and neither did she confirm it; what she resorted to was wearing baggy clothes and playing around the issue every time it was brought up in interviews; in fact, she could at times tell show hosts to come to Lugogo to see if there was indeed a pregnancy.

When she stepped on to the stage, all sorts of lights went off on the stage at the Cricket Oval at about five minutes to 10 pm. The reason for the marketing started becoming clear. Even clearer when the lights were back on, the stage was decorated with flowers, balloons, and a seat in the rear to create a garden feel, and the artiste was standing on that dimly lit stage in a sheer mesh outfit complete with a veil.

Her look and stage decoration channelled Beyonce’s 2017 Grammy Awards performance coupled with another Beyonce moment on the cover of Vogue Magazine, also from 2017. What the two moments had in common was that one involved Beyoncé announcing she was expecting twins during an interview, while the other marked her first public appearance following the announcement. Both moments were headline stealers when they happened.

In a snap, it was clear Sheebah had used her power to gather all her fans and probably others that were looking for a good time, to prove all the rumours right that she was indeed expecting.
