Kenyan model and media influencer, Alhuda Sonie Njoroge alias Huddah Monroe, has expressed disappointment at the poor service of Pearl of AfricaHotel in Kampala. Kenyan Celebrity Huddah Monroe shocked.
The hotel, located in the leafy suburb of Nakasero, is considered a five-star property. However, Huddah, who lives in Dubai, UAE, was shocked when she was
booked at Pearl of Africa Hotel only to later realize the hotel didn’t have power.

“So nice from the outside but no electricity for two days,” said Huddah who was in Uganda to launch her Rich Beauty cosmetics in the East African country.
“The lady was telling me to open the door when the lights go off. I could not show up to my event yesterday because I could not access my luggage. Light went off at a damn hotel for over 12 hours,” said the 26-year-old beauty.

Huddah took pictures of the darkness at Pearl of Africa Hotel, saying, “I feel like I am mining. I don’t know which gold i’m gonna find.” “Imagine lights went off for 12+ hours. We had to use a fire exit door to get to the lobby. Lol. I had an event. We couldn’t access my clothes so that’s why I didn’t show up at La Terrazza because of electricity. I am still traumatized.”
