NTV Uganda announced on Thursday evening, a ban on playing music by Alien Skin and Pallaso on its entertainment show, NTV The Beat.
The decision was communicated live by presenters Sammy Wetala, Dagy Nyce, and Lynda Ddane, who highlighted the station’s commitment to push for harmony in the music industry.
As a show dedicated to entertaining and uplifting the public through transformative content, we will not be playing Pallaso’s or Alien Skin’s music until further notice.
This decision comes in response to the chaos that erupted during last year’s Enkuuka.
The ban follows a recent altercation between the two artists during the Empele Festival at Buloba.
Reports indicate that Pallaso retaliated after a confrontation with Alien Skin by attacking Fangone Forest, causing damage to property and injuring some of Alien’s gang members.
