Fans of Eddy Kenzo and Rema Namakula have long yearned for a collaboration between the two talented artists, and it seems their wishes might soon come true.
The President of the Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF), Eddy Kenzo, has hinted at the possibility, saying, “It will happen.”
Kenzo made the statement when asked about the chances of working on a music project with Rema.
The two artists, once a power couple in Uganda’s entertainment scene, went their separate ways in 2019.
Rema has since found happiness with her husband, Dr. Hamza Ssebunya, while Kenzo is now engaged to Hon. Phiona Nyamutoro, the State Minister in charge of Minerals. Both have expressed contentment with their respective partners.
A joint project between Rema and Kenzo would undoubtedly break the internet, given their individual popularity and history.
