Miami Dolphins star wide receiver Tyreek Hill suffered a hand injury during the team’s 20-13 win over the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday, although he confirmed that it doesn’t appear to be serious following the game.

“I think I’ll be fine,” Hill said, according to Daniel Oyefusi of the Miami Herald. “I don’t think I’m gonna be able to play Fortnite but I’ll be okay.”

He briefly left the game and entered the locker room after sustaining the injury, although he returned to the field for the second half.

While Hill mentioned his inability to play Fortnite following the injury in a joking manner, the receiver owns a YouTube channel with just over 1.2 million subscribers and has streamed himself playing the immensely popular video game in the past.

The seven-time Pro Bowl wideout is no stranger to referencing video games when speaking to reporters. Following a 42-38 win over the Baltimore Ravens in Sept. 2022, Hill told the media that head coach Mike McDaniel was calling plays like he was “out there playing Madden” (per Oyefusi).

He finished Sunday’s contest with 146 yards on 10 receptions, including a 38-yard touchdown in which he simply outran Las Vegas’ secondary on his way to the end zone. He reached a top speed of just over 20 miles per hour on the play, per NFL Next Gen Stats.

Hill entered the game with 1,076 receiving yards and eight touchdown grabs, both the highest marks of any player this season. He’s one of the main reasons why the Dolphins currently own the top-ranked passing offense in the NFL.

Miami moved to 7-3 after the win, maintaining its first-place position in the AFC East.
