Television broadcasting in Uganda has grown over years from one television station in 1963 to over 50 television stations to date. We bring you the best and leading Christian TV stations in Uganda.
1. ARK TV
ARK TV takes the first position among the best and leading Christian Televisions in Uganda. The channel was founded by Bro Ronnie Makabi and It broadcasts in Luganda and English. The programming mix consists of Christian preaching shows, motivational talk shows, kids’ Christian cartoons, news and leading movies and gospel/uplifting music.

2. Salt TV
Salt television is Christian based television station with programming that cuts across to fit all audiences and it takes the second position. It is Christian based television station and part of Salt Media group of companies which is owned by Pastor Aloysius Bugingo, a popular Ugandan born again pastor of the House of Prayer Ministries International (also known as Canaan Land).
3. Gugudde TV
Gugudde Television comes in the 3rd position. This station has been in operation since 2017 solely promoting the Full Gospel of Jesus Christ in programming and operation. Gugudde TV Uganda is located at Sir Apollo Kaggwa Rd, Kampala, Uganda.
4. Dream TV
Dream TV takes the fourth position. This station is a Christian television channel broadcasting in Luganda (Ganda) and English languages. It broadcasts sermons, discussions, and African music videos. The channel is run by Impact Media Consortium, located in Kampala, Kampala District.
5. Light House Television
Lighthouse Television Uganda comes in the fifth position. This channel is a family, educational and Christian television station, located in Kampala, the capital city of Uganda, East Africa. LTVU is owned by Calvary Cathedral International in Fort Worth, Texas pastored by Pastor Bob Nichols. Calvary Cathedral International has been responsible for the day-to-day management of the station since its inception in July of 1997.
6. Kingdom TV
Kingdom TV comes in the sixth position and is Located in Mengo kisenyi and belonging to Pastor Kiganda.
7. Spirit TV
SPIRIT TV takes the 7th position. This channel is Christian television targeting the young urban audience.
8. Glorious Times
Glorious Times Televison comes in the 8th position. Founded by Prophet Samuel Kakande, this station has been in operation since 2019 solely promoting the Gospel of Jesus Christ in programming and operation. Glorious Times TV is similar to ARK TV because they both don’t air advertisements. It is located in Kampala, Uganda.
9. Family TV
Family TV takes the 9th position. The station is located on the 13th Floor of the Church House building on Kampala Road. Family TV is a family-focused station broadcasting clean content based on Christian values. The station enjoys the partnership of and is strategically being positioned as the mouthpiece of the Church of Uganda (COU).
10. Rest TV
Rest TV takes the 10th position. It is a fully licensed Christian Broadcast Media House in Uganda extending the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the entire family through original content, high quality programming and great inspiration fit for their entire household. Rest TV is located at House of Rest Auditorium on Plot 72, Kampala Road.
