Why Range Rovers Appeal to Ugandan Celebrities Prestige and Status Symbol
For top Ugandan celebrities, a Range Rover isn’t just a car—it’s a statement of achievement and prestige. These SUVs are associated with wealth, luxury, and success, making them the perfect choice for high-profile individuals.
Spice Diana, for example, made headlines when she added a Range Rover Sport to her collection, further cementing her place among the elite in Uganda’s music scene.
“We post some of these things on social media not to brag, but because our fans love to see them…” she commented once about her new car.

Gloria Bugie On How She Got Blackmailed With Her Nudes
At a press conference, Bugie, whose real name is Gloria Busingye shed tears as she fielded questions from reporters about the humiliating incident.
She revealed that the video was taken in May last year and that the man who recorded it had been blackmailing her ever since.
“I want to confirm that I am the person in the video, but I was not the one who released it,” she said.
“There is a person who has been blackmailing me for over a year.”
Bugie says she filed a police case against the unnamed man, in March this year, which forced him to flee the country.
“I think he decided to release that video now after realising how well I am doing today. He is trying to ruin my career.”
Depressed
Since the video release, Bugie says she suffered a mental breakdown.
“I have been trying to ignore the noise and focus on more important things. That is why I have been a bit quiet,” she said.
“Until this time I had not realised how important mental health is. I had never been depressed before. My heart breaks for all the women who have gone through situations like this and that is why I am joining organisations which are helping such women so we can all live in a blackmail-free society.”
Abitex case
Bugie also spoke out about music promoter Abitex, who filed a police complaint against her for “promoting pornography.”
She explained that no woman in her right mind would deliberately release her one nakedness to the world
“I hope that Abitex has sisters or daughters himself. I wish he would study and understand what I am going through,” she added.
