The Samsung Odyssey Neo G8 with model number LS32BG852NNXGO arrived in June 2022 and had a list price of US$1,499.99 ever since on both Amazon and Samsung US. However, now those interested in this curved gaming monitor can grab it from both retailers for a more wallet-friendly figure of US$999.99. According to Amazon price tracker Camelcamelcamel, the average price of this piece of hardware is now US$1,254.50, which is lower than last month’s US$1,314.74. In both cases, the average was calculated taking into account the last 50 price changes.
With an obvious focus on avid gamers, the 32-inch Odyssey Neo G8 features a 4K UHD QLED panel with a 1000R curve, 240 Hz refresh rate, 1 ms response time, and 95% DCI-P3 color gamut. Other highlights worth mentioning are AMD FreeSync Premium Pro support, CoreSync lighting, a stand with adjustable height, pivot, swivel, and tilt alongside support for 100 X 100 mm VESA mounts.
The list of connectivity options is quite generous, including one 3.5 mm headphone jack, a pair of HDMI inputs, one DP port, as well as two USB ports.
After 1,236 user reviews, this monitor’s rating on Samsung US is a decent 4.3/5. On Amazon, it shares 1,518 ratings with a few Neo G7 and Neo G9 models, and the result of these assessments reads 4.0/5.
